Juventus offer Pogba new deal worth £130,000-a-week to ward off United

Juventus star Paul Pogba has been offered a new contract to ward off Man United, according to Mino Raiola

Juventus have offered Paul Pogba a new contract in a bid to stave off interest from Manchester United, according to agent Mino Raiola.

The central midfielder, subject of serious interest from United, is jetting off on holiday after France lost the European Championship final against Portugal on Sunday night.
It is believed the package presented by Juventus will include a wage increase to around £130,000 a week.

Raiola claimed he did not speak to Pogba about any potential switch away from Turin during Euro 2016 - but the pair are now expected to discuss their options.
Jose Mourinho is keen to add a ‘fourth priority signing’ to his squad in the coming weeks and United expect to have a clear run at the 23-year-old given Real Madrid’s indifference to the transfer fee quoted.

President Florentino Perez is thought to be cool about the prospect of spending in excess of £100million for Pogba.
Raiola, meanwhile, has enjoyed a close relationship with United this summer following deals for two of his clients Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The Italian revealed on Monday morning that Pogba - who would need convincing of a move back to Old Trafford given their lack of Champions League football - could yet stay at Juventus.
‘There is a lot of talk about Paul’s future, but maybe he will not leave Juventus,’ he said.
‘He is in no rush to leave, and Juventus do not want him to go. They want him to renew his contract.

‘Paul is not desperate to move. We are very happy at Juventus and they are a club that want to keep their star players.
‘Juventus have treated Paul exceptionally well. They are a fantastic club and they believe in him.’
United officials were privately confident of completing a deal for Pogba, who if he did sign would in all probability not link-up with Mourinho’s squad until after their pre-season tour of China.
