Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has been honoured with the Outstanding Contribution prize at tonight’s London Football Awards.
The former England midfielder spent 13 years at Stamford Bridge and will undoubtedly go down as one of the finest Londoners to ever play the game.
Lampard won every major trophy on offer during his time with the Blues, and also won 106 caps for the England national team in a glorious career.
Lampard’s career has now been recognised at tonight’s award ceremony, and he’s not the only Chelsea figure celebrating.
RCurrent manager Antonio Conte was also unsurprisingly named London Manager of the Year after an outstanding first season in the Premier League.
Lampard recently returned to Chelsea for a belated goodbye to the club’s fans on the Stamford Bridge pitch at half time in the win over Swansea.
