Monaco’s Mbappe would be welcome at Real Madrid – Ramos

Monaco star Kylian Mbappe would be “welcome” at Real Madrid this summer, captain Sergio Ramos has said.
Mbappe, 18, has scored 12 goals in 22 league appearances to help Monaco lead Ligue 1 and is reportedly being monitored by clubs including Real, Barcelona and Manchester United.

Asked about the possibility of seeing Mbappe at Real next season, Ramos told reporters: “I’ve always said that Real’s doors are always open to the best players and, if they [club executives] decide that he is to come, we will welcome him with all our affection.
“However, I don’t think the president [Florentino Perez] will ring me to decide whether someone should come or not.
“But I think right now it’s a lack of respect shown to those in the squad to talk about others who are not from the club.”
Mbappe, who made his France debut in a World Cup qualifying win over Luxembourg last week, is under contract with Monaco until June 2019.
But former France international Robert Pires told Cadena Ser radio: “He is very good and he is going to be a phenomenon.
“But we have to be cautious. He is young, he is only 18. We have to look after him.
“The most important thing for him is to continue at Monaco.”
Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim recently told Marca: “We know how much quality he has and that he has a spectacular future ahead of him.”
