AC Milan make Chelsea's Cesc Fabregas their top summer target

Euro giants make key Chelsea star their priority summer target

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas is AC Milan’s top summer transfer target as they look to strengthen in midfield, according to reports in Italy.

The Spain international hasn’t always been a regular in Antonio Conte’s side this season, but has started to win over the Blues boss in the second half of the campaign.

Recent reports claimed Chelsea were cooling their interest in Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti due to the presence of Fabregas, but Milan’s interest could give the west Londoners a headache again.

The Serie A giants were first linked with Fabregas back in the January transfer window, and they remain ambitious ahead of what could be a busy summer of spending.
According to Corriere Dello Sport, Milan are also looking at Sassuolo youngster Lorenzo Pellegrini as an option, but would prefer to sign Fabregas if possible.

The 29-year-old has been at Stamford Bridge since joining from Barcelona in 2014, and looks set to win his second Premier League title with the club this season.
