The ex-Minister for Finance, who had been kidnapped on his farm by herdsmen and later released, made the remarks in Akure on Saturday.
According to a statement issued by Fayose’s Chief Press Secretary, Idowu Adelusi, Falae condemned the activities of the herdsmen which he claimed could cause disintegration of the country.
He disclosed that “over 500 cattle invaded his farm last Friday.”
Falae, however, praised Ekiti State’s anti-grazing laws. He said the urgent implementation of the laws had put paid to unwholesome activities of herdsmen in state.
Falae urged other governors to imitate Fayose in order to protect people from herdsmen’s attacks.
