Nicki Minaj visits her brother in jail

Nicki Minaj has visited her brother in jail for the first time since he was convicted of child rape. However, the rapper only went to support their mother Carol, TMZ reported.

Last week, Jelani Maraj was found guilty of repeatedly raping his 11-year-old stepdaughter while her mother was at work.



While Nicki has severed ties with her brother since the verdict, she reportedly made the exception to make the trip to Nassau County jail because her mother wanted her to go.

It was also Carol's first time seeing her 38-year-old son since the verdict; he could face 25 years to life in prison when he is sentenced next month, although his lawyer plans to appeal.
