Osun Police Commissioner Commends FSARS After Arrest Of Car Snatchers


The Osun State Commissioner of Police, Olafimihan Adeoye has expressed his satisfaction over the operations of officers and men of Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, FSARS. The police boss made this known during the parade of four suspected car snatchers who were recently nabbed by FSARS operatives, Osun State Command.

CP Adeoye maintained that FSARS operatives have been working tirelessly in ensuring that the State is a no-go area for Criminals, a stride which was attested to by the recovery of 19 stolen vehicles.


The vehicles according the CP, were recovered alongside the arrest of the snatchers whose names were given as Nasir Olanike Fatima, Shittu Saheed, Bamidele Babatunde, Adewale Adebiyi and Lateef Akerele.

‘I want to tell the entire Nigerians that I am very happy with operational activities of officers and men of FSARS in this command. I can boldly attest to you that they have made the state hot for criminals in the recent time.


‘Let me use this medium to appreciate the officer incharge of FSARS, SP Adaramola Felix, ASP Felix Okeyemi and ASP Oshimi Ronke for a collective job well-done’.

While giving an assurance that the suspects will be charged to a court of appropriate jurisdiction, the CP called on those whose vehicle was stolen to come and identify and check if theirs was among those recovered.



Items recovered includes twelve Toyota Camry, four Toyota corolla, one Toyota Highlander jeep, one locally made pistol, Criminal charms and 13 pieces of 6 yards Ankara.
