Gutierrez: Sagna tackle may have saved my life

Jonas Gutierrez has revealed a sensational story of how a challenge from Bacary Sagna led to the diagnosis of his testicular cancer, possibly saving his life.
The Newcastle midfielder has this week opened up about his battle with the illness, for which he is currently undergoing chemotherapy after having his left testicle removed in his native Argentina.
And Gutierrez has disclosed details of how the diagnosis came about following a tackle from then-Arsenal player Bacary Sagna.

Sagna digs at Arsenal ahead of Emirates return

Bacary Sagna has lit the fuse ahead of his return to Arsenal by claiming he ‘boosted’ his career by making the move to Manchester City.
The French full-back, 31, left the Gunners in the summer on a free transfer after seven years of service at the Emirates, but Sagna may be in for a hostile welcome when City travel to Arsenal next Saturday after his latest comments.

Bacary Sagna has ended his seven-year stay at Arsenal by signing a three-year contract with Manchester City, according to reports in France.
Sagna, who is out of contract with the Gunners this summer, has been offered a two-year extension to stay at the Emirates Stadium.

Bacary Sagna will play his final game for Arsenal at Wembley on Saturday after the club refused to meet his £100,000-per-week wage demands.
The right-back has been involved in a long running contract dispute with the club that has seen him turn down three offers - the latest a three year deal worth around £80,000-per-week.

Fenerbahce to offer Sagna £100,000 a week

 
Fenerbahce are reportedly willing to offer Bacary Sagna £100,000 a week to leave Arsenal.

The 31-year-old is struggling to agree terms on a new deal with the London club.

Galatasaray, Inter Milan, Monaco, PSG and Manchester City are also interested.
