LUTH reduces healthcare charges by 50%

The management of Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba, has agreed to reduction of cost of healthcare services in the hospital by 50 per cent.
Dr Omojowolo Olubunmi, President, Association of Resident Doctors, LUTH branch, told journalists in Lagos that this was part of the agreement reached between the hospital’s management and health workers.

Rich Homie Quan was hitting the lean hard before suffering a seizure during a video shoot.

TMZ broke the story … Quan was rushed to the hospital yesterday in ATL after he collapsed, hitting his head on the ground and suffering the seizure. His rep called it heat exhaustion.

Rich Homie Quan Hospitalized After Having 2 Seizures During Video Shoot

 
2014 XXL Freshman class member Rich Homie Quan is in an Atlanta hospital recovering after suffering two seizures on Tuesday, May 6.
TMZ reports that Quan was shooting a music video with Problem when he collapsed and hit his head. Quan's reps say he collapsed from heat exhaustion and then suffered a seizure.
The rapper is reportedly in good condition.

Lagos Shuts 28 Illegal Hospitals

The Lagos State Government says it has shut down 28 substandard hospitals and 319 illegal pharmacies across the state for not meeting up with the standard set by the government.
The government also disclosed that 9,498 pupils in Lagos public primary schools have visual impairment after tests carried out on them.

Baby who was born with HIV believed to be cured after doctors treated her immediately following her birth
