“Negotiate With Boko Haram” – Gov Shettima Tells President Jonathan

The Executive governor of Borno State, Kassim Shettima has said that the Federal Government should not ignore the option of negotiating with Boko Haram if that is the only way to bring back the abducted girls.


Shettima in tears Shettima also expressed sadness towards the Jonathan’s delay before he could reach out to him after three weeks.

Borno govt. to rebuild 400 shops destroyed by insurgents

The Borno Government on Sunday said it planned to rebuild about 400 shops destroyed during last Monday’s attack by suspected Boko Haram insurgents at the Ngala Central Market.

Governor Kashim Shettima made the promise when he paid a sympathy visit to the market, which is located at the headquarters of the Gamboru-Ngala Local Government Area of the state.
