Rooney slams media on twitter over family holiday snaps

England striker Wayne Rooney has appeared in good spirits as he works on his fitness in Portugal ahead of England’s pre-World Cup training camp but today the Manchester United star has hit out at the British media for ‘following him and his children’.
The 28-year-old released a video on his official Facebook page of a training session with two fitness coaches during a holiday to the Algarve on Friday.
Rooney, watched by his son Kai, who was wearing a red England shirt, took part in some sprints and some ball work as his dad stepped up training ahead of the trip to Brazil.
However, after writing how good it was to have Kai cheering him on from the sidelines on his Facebook page, Rooney’s mood appears to have darkened, judging by his comments on his Twitter page.
The photos which caused Rooney to tweet his disgust were of him, wife Coleen and two sons, Kai and Clay playing crazy golf.
England begin their World Cup campaign with a match against Italy on June 14 in Manaus.
