Chelsea turn to Riyad Mahrez while West Ham consider James Rodriguez

It could be more bad news for Leicester as Chelsea plot a second raid on the King Power Stadium for Algeria international Riyad Mahrez, the Sunday Mirror reports. The winger turned down an improved contract from the Foxes worth £100,000-a-week and Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has made no secret of his desire to sign the PFA Player of the Year.

According to Marca , West Ham are one of the numerous Premier League sides linked with a move for Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez. The attacking midfielder endured a difficult past season and is considering his future beyond the Bernabeu. The La Liga giants have valued the Colombia international at €80m but it seems neither West Ham nor the likes of Chelsea or Manchester United have made a bid above €60m at this point.
