Crystal Palace release Campbell, Flamini and Ledley

Crystal Palace release Campbell, Flamini and Ledley

Fraizer Campbell, Mathieu Flamini and Joe Ledley have been included on Crystal Palace’s list of released players.
The list, published on the Premier League website, details players out of contract at the end of June as it stands rather than those definitely leaving the south London club.

Palace are also currently without a manager following Sam Allardyce’s decision to step down from his role at Selhurst Park, leaving players’ futures in the balance.
Sky Sports reports former Ajax and Inter Milan boss Frank de Boer is in talks with Palace about their vacant manager’s job.
Campbell struggled to establish himself as a regular starter for Palace after joining from Cardiff in 2014 and managed to score only eight goals in 50 appearances for the club.
Sky Sports reports Premier League new boys Brighton are among the clubs interested in signing the former Manchester United forward.
Flamini joined Palace as a free agent last September following his release from Arsenal, but featured only 13 times and saw his first-team opportunities limited after the arrival of fellow midfielder Luka Milivojevic in January.
Ledley scored six times in 97 appearances for Palace after joining from Scottish Premiership champions Celtic in 2014.
The Wales midfielder has been linked in the national press with a return to former club Cardiff, though Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock has since played down a possible deal.
Jonathan Benteke, Ezekiel Fryers and Kwesi Appiah are also among the names included on the release list.
