'Glee' actor Mark Sailing pleads guilt to child porn possession


Mark Sailing an actor on ended popular hit TV series Glee  has pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography.

The 35-year old who played Puckerman on the show, faces between four and seven years in prison and has been ordered to pay about $50,000 (£38,000) to each victim.


Sailing was arrested back in 2015 following a tip off that he had images of children being sexually abused. Upon investigations, thousands of such images were found on his laptop and hard drive.

He was then charged with two counts of receiving and possessing images of child sexual abuse in May 2016, and faced a possible 20 years behind bars.

New documents obtained by some news outlet show that Sailing has entered into a plea deal with California's district attorney and part of the agreement involves him being subjected to 20 years supervised release and will have strict restrictions placed on his contact with under-18s, TMZ reports.
