For violating the protection his ex-girlfriend had against him, a Hawaii judge forced a man to write 140 nice about his ex-girlfriend. The man identified as Daren Young was ordered to stop contacting his ex-girlfriend in February, a judgement he flouted 144 times by sending a mass amount of texts and calls within three hours.

Young who rounded up his 157 days in Jail for breaking the rule on Friday, was given two years of probation, fined $2,400 and given 200 hours of community service. He was further directed by the Judge to wrote 140 nice things about his ex-girlfriend.

“For every nasty thing you said about her, you’re going to say a nice thing,” 2nd Circuit Judge Rhonda Loo told 30-year-old Daren Young. She added, “No repeating words.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

“It’s so childish to think a grown man can be so thumb-happy. I hope you don’t have a phone anymore and, if you do, I hope you don’t have her number anymore,” said Loo.
