72-year-old landlady docked for stealing tenant’s N500,000

A 72-year-old landlady is in the dock for stealing from her tenant.

A 72-year-old Lagos landlady, Bamidele Ogboro, has shown that there is no age limit when it comes to committing a crime after she was arrested and charged to court for allegedly stealing her tenant's N500,000.
She did not stop at that as she showed the man whose name was given as Ejikeme Hypolite, that she is the owner of the house when she ejected him out of her house located at 6, Shopeju Street, Shogunle, in the state.

A woman out for her morning jog made the bizarre discovery of a missing baby girl strapped into a car seat in a bush.
Eight-month-old Genesis Hailey had been there for around six hours after a man who stole a car noticed her in the back in north Houston, Texas.

Vivica A. Fox Accuses Kenya Moore of Stealing Her Phone


The beef is already brewing between Vivica A. Fox and Kenya Moore before episode one of their "Celebrity Apprentice" season even starts. According to the "Set It Off" actress, Kenya stole her phone while they were filming the reality show and tweeted out messages about menopause and not being sexy. 

Nigeria asks U.S. to return $500 million Abacha loot to country

 
“General Abacha was one of the most notorious kleptocrats in memory, who embezzled billions from the people of Nigeria while millions lived in poverty.”

Despite its inability to adequately explain how the more than $500 million Sani Abacha loot recovered from Swiss authorities was spent, the Federal Government has filed an application at a Washington DC District Court requesting that another $500 million (N75 billion) stolen by the late military dictator, recently frozen by the United States Department of Justice, be repatriated to the country.

Video: Thief Snatches More Than $40,000 Worth Of Designer Handbags


 The search is on for a purse snatcher who stole nearly $40,000 worth of high end bags from the Neiman Marcus at Tampa's International Plaza last weekend (United States).

According to Tampa Police, the man stole from the store on two separate occasions - once on Saturday and again on Sunday. Store surveillance cameras caught the entire incident.

NSCDC Rescues Man Accused Of Stealing Goats From Mob

Officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) operating in Jigawa State, on Wednesday said it rescued a 35-year-old man (nameswithheld) accused of stealing 11 goats from being lynched by angry mob. Muhammad Gidado, the agency’s state commandant, who made this known to journalists in Dutse, said that the suspect has been arrested and detained pending investigation.

Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, Mr. Ekpo Nta, yesterday, told a bewildered House of Representatives Committee on Anti-Corruption, National Ethics and Values, how the commission accosted a junior officer, names withheld, with the Pension Commission operating 50 bank accounts with different names and signatures, with several millions lodged in the accounts.
