Psquare Reacts to Insinuations that All may not be Well with their Union

 

Pop duo, PSquare, have reacted to the news that something could be going wrong in their camp. Speaking with PremiumTimes, Psquare's publicist, Bayo Adetu, described the report as untrue. He said:
"I am too busy to give some wanna be blogger traffic, I don’t know where that report is coming from. Maybe they just want to get traffic to their site. It’s baseless and untrue”.

World Bank gives Bauchi $50m education grant

The Bauchi State Government said it accessed 50 million dollars (N8.5 billion) grant from the World bank for the improvement of the standard of education in the state.
The state Coordinator of the project, Alhaji Abubakar Tilde, told journalists how the fund was implemented in Bauchi. He said that it spent 10 million dollars about N1.7 billion in 2013.

A 35-year old man, Mr. Uwem Job, on Wednesday, beheaded two of his cousins, Mr. Akaninyene Job, 45; and Ezekiel Job, 36. Two other cousins – Itoro Job and Ekemini Job – narrowly escaped death as Uwem’s machete missed their throats, but cut through their hands. They were said to have been taken to a hospital in the area. Eyewitnesses said the incident occurred around 8.10am in Ikot Nkim, Ibesikpo/Asutan Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State.

Randy DPO rapes female detainee

 
A 31-year-old lady, who was detained at a divisional police station on Lagos Island, has accused the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of the station of raping her. The lady, identified simply as Miss Akinwunmi, alleged that the DPO, a Superintendent of Police (SP), instructed one Inspector Ajiduwe to bring her to his office for debriefing of her case.
The DPO (names withheld) allegedly pounced on the lady and raped her after Ajiduwe left the office. Akinwunmi, who claimed she was arrested on April 15, about 1am, added that she was reported to the police by her ‘madam,’ identified as Mrs Pelumi, who runs a local cafeteria at number 11, Keffi Road, Ikoyi, Lagos State.
