Bello Abdullahi Kaura was an official of the World Health Organisation (WHO) in Zamfara State office, who was declared missing, but was found dead after three months.

His death was not mysterious because a soldier and a police inspector have allegedly been fingered for the death of the official.

The UK Home Office has banned flamboyant Nigerian pastor, Bishop David Oyedepo, from entering Britain, a British government source told SaharaReporters. Mr. Oyedepo is known as the general overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, otherwise known as Winners Chapel. Headquartered in Ota, Ogun State, the church has branches in numerous parts of the world, including the UK and US.
According to the source, the ban arose from preliminary investigations by Britain’s Charity Commission that determined that monies donated to Bishop Oyedepo’s church for charitable purposes were funneled to Nigeria to fund the preacher’s flamboyant lifestyle.

Abiodun Raheem appeared before Justice Kudirat Jose of the Court on Thursday for creating a website that facilitates examination malpractices.

He and his wife, Priscilla Chan, are donating the sum to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Foundation and it will be used to fight the virus in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone and elsewhere in the world where Ebola is a threat.

Enhanced screening for Ebola will begin at Britain’s biggest airport today after the Health Secretary revealed the deadly virus is expected to reach the UK.
Jeremy Hunt said checks would begin at Heathrow’s Terminal 1 before they are expanded to cover Gatwick airport and Eurostar rail terminals by the end of next week, as the death toll in west Africa reached more than 4,000 people.
He told MPs it was ‘likely’ that Ebola will be seen in the UK and a ‘handful’ of cases could be confirmed in the next three months.

Two killed as PDP, APC thugs clash in Lagos

A lottery agent, Sheriff Alasia, was on Monday shot dead during a brutal cult clash at the Fadeyi end of Ikorodu Road, Lagos State.

Dangote sues Zambian minister over bribe claim

Dangote Industries Zambia is suing the country’s labour minister, Fackson Shamenda, for defamation after he claimed that a senior company official tried to bribe him, court documents showed Monday.
The subsidiary of Nigeria's Dangote Group -- owned by Aliko Dangote who is ranked by Forbes magazine as the richest man in Africa -- is claiming unspecified damages for slander and libel as well as special damages in the sum of 112,042.84 kwacha ($17,728), according to documents filed in the High Court.
