QPR to sign Lampard & Ferdinand

QPR to sign Lampard & Ferdinand. Seriously.
QPR want to turn to experience after winning promotion back to the Premier League, with stalwarts Frank Lampard and Rio Ferdinand in talks over moves to Loftus Road.
Rangers sealed their return to the top flight with a 1-0 play-off final win over Derby County on Saturday, and Harry Redknapp wants to begin work strengthening his squad straight away.
He reportedly wants to add up to six new faces, but experience is key – and that’s why he’s turned to Lampard and Ferdinand.
Redknapp has worked with the duo before at West Ham and with both out of contract with Chelsea and Manchester United respectively, they are available for no transfer fee.
Lampard is being offered a one-year contract with the option of another 12 months after, while Ferdinand could get a deal until January – when he would then be free to move to the MLS, if he wishes. The pair are not expected to give an answer on the moves for a few weeks, with a host of other clubs likely to make offers.
