Arsenal are planning for life without Alexis Sanchez after they reportedly told their scouts to go out and find a replacement for their biggest star.
The Chilean has yet to sign a new deal at the club amid a stand off over wages.
Sanchez wants at least £250,000-a-week, but Arsenal are unwilling to go higher than the £180,000-a-week they have offered him.
Arsenal want to tie the star down to a new contract, but are plotting a mega deal in the summer should Sanchez refuse to sign.
If Sanchez does enter the final 12 months of his contract without signing a fresh deal then Arsenal will consider bids for the attacker.
Arsenal’s scouts have returned with three names after being ordered to find a replacement for Sanchez.
Porto striker Andre Silva, Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus and Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette are all high on the wishlist and have been extensively looked at by the club.
Arsenal are big admirers of all three and the arrival of any of the trio would surely soften the departure of their talisman and top goalscorer.
The scouting mission is only just getting started, however, with the Daily Mail claiming Arsenal want a detailed lost of potential replacements.
Arsenal will need a goalscorer should Sanchez be sold with Silva currently on 18 goals for the season, Lacazette 27 and Reus six.
