Police in Georgia have arrested two suspects in the
murder of a mother-of-three who was found slain outside her fiance’s Roswell
home in January.
Petra
Reese, 55, was taken into custody on Thursday and charged with murder in
connection to the January 17 killing of her ex-husband’s new fiancee, Karen Lee LaForge, 53.
On
Tuesday, the Roswell Police Department also arrested 31-year-old James Lloyd, on a count of murder in connection
to the January killing.
A press release from the agency described Lloyd, of Milton, Georgia, as a ‘known associate’ of
Petra Reese, but police provided no additional details on the nature of their
relationship.
On
January 17, at around 1.30pm, 56-year-old Joseph Reese called 911 to report
that he found his fiancee,
Karen LaForge, laying unresponsive outside his house at 505 Tyson Circle in
Roswell.
