Photos : ISIS beheads three men with sword for being homosexuals

 

Three men, accused of homosexuality and blasphemy, were publicly beheaded by a sword-wielding ISIS executioner.

The photos of the barbaric execution was shared online. Two of the men were accused of being homosexuals and the third one accused of Blasphemy. They were blindfolded and taken to a traffic roundabout with a crowd looking on.
An elderly man used a microphone to read out their crimes before a masked man beheaded them.

Boko Haram video shows two men being beheaded accused of spying

A video purporting to show the executions of two alleged spies has been released by Nigerian Islamist group Boko Haram.

One of the men is made to make a full confession, explaining his 'crimes' to the camera, before they pair are beheaded and their bodies shown to the camera.

The gruesome execution video echoes those posted by Islamic State and is the second released by Boko Haram.

A shocking new video purportedly shows Islamic State fighters casually discussing how to buy and sell Yazidi women as slaves.

The women belong to the Yazidi minority group in Iraq and were abducted by the radical Islamists earlier this year.

In the video, the militants are heard discussing the possibility of trading a combination of guns and banknotes in return for a female slave.

Kidnapped British teacher David Bolam released by militants in Libya

A British teacher has been released by militants after a ransom was paid.

David Bolam, who went missing in Libya in May, is ‘safe and well’ after being reunited with his family.

He had been teaching at the International School Benghazi when he was kidnapped.

His disappearance was not reported after a request from his family and the Foreign Office.

US journalist Steven Sotloff reportedly beheaded by Islamic State in new video

An internet video that reportedly shows the beheading of US journalist Steven Sotloff has been released.

The execution would be the second one carried out by the Islamic State on an American citizen in recent weeks, following the murder of James Foley last month.

Nigerian Military Chopper That Crashed Was Used By Terrorist

There is very uncomfortable news out of Borno once again further demonstrating the degree of distrust between locals and the Nigerian military drafted to the plagued region. The Nigerian military Mi-35 helicopter that reportedly crashed in Bama earlier this month apparently suffered gunfire, but not from terrorists, according to the latest reports we are receiving from trusted locals. National defense spokesperson Chris Olukolade reported that the crash was ‘not due to enemy action.’

Information gathered by ENDS in Borno has it that locals are confident that this chopper was one of two military helicopters used by Boko Haram terrorists.

Boko Haram kidnaps wife of Cameroon's Vice Prime Minister

The wife of Cameroon's vice prime minister was kidnapped and at least three people were killed in an attack by Boko Haram militants on in the northern town of Kolofata on Sunday, Cameroon officials said.

A local religious leader, or lamido, named Seini Boukar Lamine, who is also the town's mayor, was kidnapped as well, in a separate attack on his home.

Police uncover plot to attack Abuja transport network

The police said on Saturday it has uncovered a plot to attack the Abuja transport network.

The force said in a statement that the plot could be carried out by suicide bombers, using devices concealed in luggage at major bus stations.

Abuja has increasingly been targeted by Boko Haram sect, with three deadly bombings since April, including one in a bus park that killed at least 75 people, Reuters says.

“Credible intelligence indicates that terrorists have perfected a plot to carry out attacks on the Abuja transport sector. The move is intended to cause panic amongst Abuja residents and visitors,” police spokesman, Frank Mba, said in a statement.

Chibok Girls’ Abduction: Military Arrests Key Suspect, Babuji Ya’ari

The Special Forces have arrested a top intelligence operative of the Boko Haram sect. The suspect is believed to have spearheaded the abduction of the female students of Government Secondary, Chibok, on April 14, 2014, the Defence Headquarters said in a statement on Monday. The statement by the Director of Defence Information, Maj. Gen. Chris Olukolade, named the Boko Haram operative as Babuji Ya’ari, said to be a businessman and leader of a youth vigilance group, popularly known as the Civilian JTF.

Italy to assist Nigeria against terrorism

The Italian Government on Wednesday in Abuja declared its support and willingness to assist Nigeria in the fight against terrorism.

The Italian Ambassador to Nigeria, Fulvius Rusticu, gave this pledge during a courtesy visit to the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Prof. Viola Onwuliri.

According to reports, the extradition of suspected Nyanya bombing mastermind, Aminu-Sadiq Ogwuche from Sudan might take longer than expected.
This was attributed to the fact that the Sudanese government has refused to co-operate as they do not have any extradition agreement with any nation in the world.

Nigerian Military Claims Unnamed Northeast Politician Sponsoring Anti-Military Plot

Nigeria’s Defense Headquarters has claimed that a prominent political leader from one of the northeast states ravaged by members of the Islamist terrorist group, Boko Haram, is sponsoring “a renewed campaign aimed at attracting international condemnation and indictment of the Nigerian military and its operations in the Northern part of the country.”

Sponsors Of Bomb Attacks In Nigeria

On Wednesday, the Plateau Governor, Jonah Jang, described sponsors of bomb attacks in the country as “enemies of humanity and democracy.”

He made this known in a statement signed by Mr. James Mannok, Director of Press Affairs, “The sponsors of these attacks on humanity stand condemned now and in the hereafter. We must all mobilise to check the carnage,’’

The executive Governor, Jang, who reacted to the twin explosions that hit Terminus Market, Jos, on Tuesday afternoon, condemned the “headless destruction of lives and property by these elements,”

He advised Nigerians to see the war against terrorism as a collective challenge that must be tackled collectively and urged the security agencies to fish out the attackers.

40 Feared Killed As Boko Haram Invades Another Borno Village

At least 40 villagers were killed and several others injured on Saturday as gunmen believed to be Boko Haram members attacked Dalwa-Masuba Village in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State, security sources and a witness said.

The gunmen who stormed the village in large numbers also burnt down virtually all buildings in the village as well as three pickup vans carrying woods to Damboa.

The violent sect, Boko Haram and other groups in northern Nigeria received $3m from Osama bin Laden in 2002, according to a report by some United States intelligence analysts.

Bin Laden was said to have dispatched an aide to Nigeria to hand out the seed money in naira to a wide array of Salafist political organisations that shared al Qaeda’s goal of imposing Islamic rule.

Shekau made Boko Haram more ruthless

The insurgency waged by Boko Haram’s leader Abubakar Muhammad Shekau, who claimed the kidnapping of more than 200 Nigerian schoolgirls, has grown so ruthless that even former Islamist allies have cut ties.

Born in a village in Nigeria’s northeastern Yobe state on the border with Niger, Shekau had a traditional Islamic education in neighbouring Borno state, where Boko Haram was founded more than a decade ago by the cleric Mohammed Yusuf.

Boko Haram men bomb bridge linking Nigeria to Cameroon, kill 30

Boko Haram militants, have bombed a small bridge that links Nigeria to Cameroon killing at least 30. The incident occurred this afternoon on the outskirts of Gamboru Ngala, site of the Monday attack that claimed over 300 lives.

The bridge also links immigration checkpoints of both Cameron and Nigeria.

Boko Haram militants have not claimed responsibility for the bombing but residents of Gamboru Ngala tells Saharareporters that there is deep suspicion that the Islamist group is behind the attack.

The Islamist group, Boko Haram,  may have got over $70million between 2006 and 2011 for its insurgent activities in Nigeria which claimed  lives, the most recent of which is the Friday Nyanya, Abuja bombing, from its sponsors.

2 Cameroonians arrested in connection with May Day bombing

The Nigerian Police Force have arrested 2 Cameroonian Nationals in connection with the devastating bombing at Nyanya yesterday night.

Force Spokesman Frank Mba made the disclosure whilst addressing newsmen in Abuja earlier today.

Mba said 19 people died, whilst 31 were injured by the blast, which occurred directly opposite the bus station bombed by Boko Haram on April 14. That blast officially killed75 people and injuring over 200.

Mba assured that the police are on the trail of other suspects.
