Arsenal could be in line to lose as much as five of their first-team stars this summer. Arsene Wenger’s side are in free fall as they lost 10-2 to Bayern Munich over two legs in the Champions League and slipped out of the top four in the league.
Arsenal are worried they are about to lose Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil with both stalling on signing new deals.
And the club have now been told that David Ospina, Lucas Perez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain want to leave this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
Perez only joined Arsenal last summer, but after spending much of his debut season watching from the bench, the striker wants a quick exit from the Emirates.
Ozil and Sanchez have both been offered new deals to stay at the club, but Arsenal are convinced the pair will reject their offers.
Ospina shares Perez’s frustration at a lack of game time despite being the first-choice goalkeeper in the Champions League.
The stopper wants to play every week while Oxlade-Chamberlain is seriously considering leaving the club after another desperately disappointing season.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has just 15 months left on his current deal and is losing faith in Arsenal’s ambition with Manchester United and Liverpool monitoring his situation.
Ozil and Sanchez will have just a year left on their contracts at the end of the season.
Arsenal have also yet to open talks with on-loan midfielder Jack Wilshere.
The Englishman left the Emirates in the summer to join the Cherries in a bid to build up his fitness.
Wilshere is set to enter the last 12 months on his Arsenal contract in the summer.
