Belgian attacking midfielder Indy Boonen, 16, has penned a three-year deal with Manchester United

Manchester United have completed the signing of Genk midfielder Indy Boonen, according to reports.
Boonen, 16, who has been a target for Arsenal and German club Wolfsburg, has been training with United for the last few weeks ahead of a deal.

Gainesville Police (US) arrested a local man early Thursday after they found a bag of weed in his butt and a bag of crack in his mouth.
At about 12:30 a.m., officers stopped Winfred Alphonso McAllister Jr., 23, on Northeast 23rd Avenue and Northeast Second Street after police saw his red Mitsubishi Galant swerve into the left turn-only lane and back into his original lane twice, according to a police report.

Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka, has criticised the two frontline candidates in the March 28 presidential election, President Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party and Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) of the All Progressives Congress. Soyinka, in an interview with the BBC on Monday, insisted that the political parties should have come up with far better options than the two leading candidates. He described President Jonathan, who is running for a second term and the opposition leader, Buhari, as “problematic candidates.”

Marie told The Guardian that she had only slept with one person – her husband – until she was 28 but then he left a swingers’ magazine he got from a workmate.
At first she ignored it, but then started leafing through and decided to give it a go.

Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have apprehended the resident pastor of the Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim at Agodo-Egbe, Ikotun Lagos, over unlawful attempt to export of 174 kilogrammes of narcotic drugs to South Africa, the agency said on Monday.
NDLEA said the suspect, Prophet Michael Raji was arrested following the interception of the drug at the cargo section of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) during pre-shipment examination.

An American man is recovering in the intensive-care unit of a Spanish hospital after a bull gave him the 'biggest goring wound' the doctor who performed emergency surgery on him had ever seen.

Benjamin Miller of Georgia underwent a three-hour operation to repair damage to his thighs, sphincter and back muscles after being tossed and gored by a bull.
The 20-year-old is at a hospital in western Salamanca after being hurt at Ciudad Rodrigo's Carnaval del Toro bullfighting festival yesterday. 

The young man was injured yesterday on the first day of the festival and had to have emergency surgery

Obasanjo, an embarrassment to the military- Defense HQ releases statement

The Defence Headquarters has described former President Olusegun Obasanjo as an embarrassment to the military.

The DHQ made the comment in a statement posted on its Facebook page while reacting to a statement credited to the former President that the general elections were postponed to enable the President use the service chiefs for tenure extension in an electronic mail on Monday.


The DHQ accused the former President of politicizing serious national security and military issues.

A mum who allegedly throttled her 10-year-old son to death because she thought his big ears were ruining his life is facing murder charges in Turkey.

Nuray Sacan, 37, had paid for the boy to have cosmetic surgery in Gazi Hospital in the capital Ankara, but when she turned up after the operation she told surgeons she was unhappy with the results.

Woman Rips Her Ex-Boyfriend’s Scrotum To Shreds, Sentenced To 2 Years For The Ballsy Attack

An Indiana woman who ripped her ex-boyfriend’s scrotum “to shreds” was sentenced to two years in prison after being found guilty of battery resulting in serious bodily injury. Christina Lorena Reber, 46, ripped the man’s scrotum with her bare hands in the heinous assault.
According to USA Today, the probable cause affidavit in the case outlined the brutal attack. Reber reportedly entered her ex-boyfriend’s home in March 2012 and began violently hitting him in the head. After hitting him she “grabbed his scrotum and began squeezing as hard as she could.” The ex-boyfriend claims that Reber maintained “a tight grip” as she continued to tear into his scrotum with her bare hands. To further his pain, the ex-boyfriend says that Reber used her fingers to continually dig in to his scrotum and refused to let go.
