6 Nigerians Arrested For Forgery In Ghana

Six Nigerians have been arrested for allegedly forging letterheads of the Office of the President of Ghana, John Mahama and other state institutions to defraud people.

They are Paul Kelvin, 20; Wallace Darden Odon, 28; Osamidiamwen Ikecheku Emeka, 24; Prince Ejime, 19; Charles Chinedu, 32, and Adebayoo Alaba Saheed, 21. They are all unemployed.

LUTH reduces healthcare charges by 50%

 

The management of Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba, has agreed to reduction of cost of healthcare services in the hospital by 50 per cent.

Dr Omojowolo Olubunmi, President, Association of Resident Doctors, LUTH branch, told journalists in Lagos that this was part of the agreement reached between the hospital’s management and health workers.

A 38-year-old self-acclaimed  prophetess, Nnenna James has been arrested and remanded in prison custody at Kirikiri, Lagos state for defrauding a 31-year-old woman, Theresa Johnson.
The victim, Theresa Johnson was reported to have paid about N570,000 for spiritual cleansing and deliverance to the Lagos based prophetess.
