Pastor arrested for raping 12-year-old girl in Enugu

A preacher in Enugu has been arrested by the police after reports that he raped a 12-year-old girl.
Pastor Johnson Uneabunso, of Truth and Salvation Ministry in the Iwollo environs of the Ezeagu Local Government Area of the state, is said to be the landlord of the girl’s family residence.

Nigerian Supporters Club Wants 62 Million Condoms For 2014 World Cup

 
The Nigeria Football and other Sports Supporters Club (NFSSC), are demanding for about 62 million condoms to be made available to fans, ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
This was disclosed by Rafiu Ladipo, who is the President-General of NFSSC, while appealing to the United Nations Programme on HIV and AIDS (UNAIDS) to take their request seriously.

How Suspected Boko Haram Spy Was Arrested In MOPOL Barracks

Men of the Plateau State Police Command have arrested a middle aged man, suspected to be a Boko Haram member, was who caught allegedly spying on policemen at the Mobile Police Barracks, Sector 8 in Jos.
The recent incident followed persistent complaints by members of the public on the existence of some strange persons in some parts of Jos and Bukuru metropolis.

Police arrest 3 robbery suspects in Gombe

The Gombe State Police Command on Saturday said it arrested three persons suspected to have carried out armed robbery at Cham on the Gombe-Yola road.
The Public Relations Officer of the command, Fwaje Atajiri, told NAN that a team of policemen from Cham Division were on patrol around 2.30 a.m. on Friday when they received a distress call that armed robbers were on rampage.
